The course is nine weeks long, including two weeks work experience. After nine weeks you could be applying for a tester’s job. This is a career move, not a bog-standard educational course.  We’ll even help you craft a quality CV to help you on your way.

We’ll also teach you how to carry out all the fundamental testing types – destructive testing, scripted testing, compatibility testing – the list goes on. A lowdown of the course

This unique short course combines a sophisticated online platform with real-world, expert training. There will be seven weeks of learning and interactive lessons on how to test a video game across various platforms. You will learn all about the different types of ‘common’ bugs, the reporting procedures, how to communicate problems and issues to developers, and the various tools and software used in the industry. Supplementing the lessons are two weeks work experience embedded in QA departments, so you can see first-hand what it’s like to be in the thick of testing a game in development. At the end of the course, you will leave with a GlobalStep Games Academy certificate, an impressive CV and a brain full of invaluable games testing knowledge!
